Hey you guys!  Thanks so much for visiting!  I’ve been on a kitchen design kick with several remodel projects going on right now. Today I want to share another one of my favorite tips to add style to your kitchen. Whether you are considering a full kitchen remodel or just want to do a quick update — the easiest way to add style to your kitchen is with beautiful bar or counter stools! (Oh, and check out this recent post on my favorite kitchen pendant lighting!)

Seating in the kitchen needs to be comfortable and practical but also pretty....that's why I love finding the perfect counter/bar stools for my clients.  We spend so much time in the kitchen, it's important to make it a space that brings you joy visually.

Note that some of these are bar height, and some are counter height - and several of them come in both sizes!

  1. Loom Counter or Bar Stool

I used these counter stools (see above photo) in a recent project, and they are so incredibly comfortable! They are also available in a neutral beige/white combination.

2. Ishaan Bar or Counter Stool

I love the tufting on the seat back — plus the detailing on the back is gorgeous!

3. Carson Counter Stool

Available at Serena & Lily — this is a fresh take on a classic rush chair. A timeless beauty!

4. Tendy Bar Stool

While these have a retro feel, I’ve used them in a traditional setting as well. Love!

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

Interior Design: A Pretty Place for Reading

In this project, in Orinda, Ca., I was tasked with coming up with a design solution for a landing space at the top of a stairwell. It was a space that was too small for a loveseat and chairs, and too big and open to use as a home office.
