Lighting, to me, is like the icing on the cake in terms of a kitchen remodel or a room design.  There are so many artful options out there!  With kitchen island pendants, you have a great opportunity to make a personal and visual statement in your space.

I've rounded up my top five kitchen island pendants and hope that these inspire you if you are considering remodeling your kitchen!

1. Aquaterra Pendant

The project pictured above was completed last year, and the pendants that we used are one of my top all time faves! The light fixture is called the Aquaterra Pendant by Currey & Co.

I love this pendant for two reasons....one, that it is named Ziggy, and two because it gives off that modern vibe!

Made by Arteriors, this pendant looks great in homes with mid-century modern style!

5. Ofelia Pendant

This is such a sweet pendant.  I have one in my design studio and I love it!

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

Interior Design: A Pretty Place for Reading

In this project, in Orinda, Ca., I was tasked with coming up with a design solution for a landing space at the top of a stairwell. It was a space that was too small for a loveseat and chairs, and too big and open to use as a home office.
