Happy New Year! I’m back at work and into the swing of 2020! I hope that you are too!

I’m so glad that you are visiting my blog! Today, I wanted to let you know about one of the unique services that we offer at Price Style + Design. At the end of every full room or full house interior design project, we provide what I call the ‘icing on the cake’ - the finishing touches that make a room look and feel completely pulled together. It’s our Interior Styling Service, where we bring in options for art for your walls, decorative accessories and books for your coffee tables, consoles, bookshelves and more. (Click here to contact us for more information).

If you feel like your furniture works for you, but are lacking that ‘wow’ factor - we can help you pull it all together and make your interior space shine!

In this project (photo above and below), after we installed the furniture and the art, we added the beautiful ginger jars, and coffee table accessories.

I have a passion for bookcase styling and I love to create cohesive, yet eclectic bookshelves that look curated and uncluttered. Here are few photos of my bookcases at my home:

Bookshelves don’t have to be just for books!! I recommend including a mix of books, art and sculptural objects that are pleasing to the eye.

This is bookcase that I did for a client in San Francisco that is simple and harmonious:

Our Interior Styling service has a flat fee rate plus materials. We can even do it virtually! If you live out of the area, we can work with you too! Contact us for information. We’d love to work with you!

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

There is nothing like spending time in a happy and bright space that brings joy. This family loves to use their dining room for weekly ‘family game nights’ and theme parties as well as hosting their friends for dinner. I’m excited to share the details of the transformation!

Interior Design: A Pretty Place for Reading

In this project, in Orinda, Ca., I was tasked with coming up with a design solution for a landing space at the top of a stairwell. It was a space that was too small for a loveseat and chairs, and too big and open to use as a home office.
