Holiday Gift Guide for the Woman who has Everything

December 10, 2018 Leslie Price
Holiday Gift Guide

Christmas is almost here and as usual, I have not done a bit of shopping! I’m a big Amazon Prime shopper — because I hate the crowds this time of year in the stores!

For those of you that follow other blogs — no doubt, you’ve seen a zillion Holiday Gift Guides published already! And while I have to shop for my 20-something year old sons and my husband… I decided not prepare a holiday gift guide targeting them…..I decided to do a gift guide targeted towards me! :) Ha ha! I figured, why not?

Women in their fifties, like me, probably don’t need much, but for those of you who like what I like, I thought I’d share some fun gift ideas to give as hints to your loved ones!

  1. Art

You know that art would be at the top of my list, right? I love the luscious colors in this piece by Rob Delamater. I share a lot of his work on instagram and have used his pieces in several projects (click here and here to see). It’s available at Serena & Lily.

2. Earrings

These earrings had me at PINK! Aren’t they fun? These could totally be dressed up or down! Available at Nordstrom.

3. Pretty Salad Tongs

How many times have you been about to serve a salad, and thought, “I wish I had pretty salad tongs?” It happened to me last week. So these are a must have on my Christmas list! Available at Anthropologie.

4. Wallet

A wallet is a great gift — because it’s so useful! I use my wallet everyday! This pretty blush wallet is available at Nordstrom.

5. Vibrant Napkins

These napkins are so cute, I can’t stand it! I smile every time I look at these! Fun for entertaining and available at Anthropologie.

6. Floral Kimono

OMG, this kimono SO cute! Seriously, this is my new favorite outfit. Available at Anthropologie.

7. Knives

Who doesn’t need knives? All I know, is that a great knife in the kitchen is necessary! :) These are available at Crate and Barrel.

8. Ugg Slippers

Love these! I wear my Ugg slippers when I’m going to yoga class. Who wants to put on a pair of shoes to drive to yoga? These are available at Nordstrom.

9. Towels

These are just simple, white towels that go with anything. Can’t beat that!

Available at Serena & Lily.

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

Interior Design: A Pretty Place for Reading

In this project, in Orinda, Ca., I was tasked with coming up with a design solution for a landing space at the top of a stairwell. It was a space that was too small for a loveseat and chairs, and too big and open to use as a home office.
