Beautiful pillows are like works of art in interior design.

I always encourage my clients not to skimp when it comes to finishing a room with pillows.  Often times, pillows are the best part of the design!  And while custom pillows can be pricey, they can be coordinated with lower priced pillows to create an artful and eclectic look.

The pillows in the above design are a blend of custom fabricated pillows and a pillow from one of my favorite shops.

Tied in with color, texture and balanced in scale, a carefully selected grouping of pillows can elevate any room from bland to glam!

Some of the best resources I've found for beautiful, artful pillows are:

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

Interior Design: A Pretty Place for Reading
