Did you know that the color blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, and truth? And…that, it is also considered beneficial to the mind and body? Think blue skies and blue ocean, how calming is that?

Needless to say, I’m thrilled that the Pantone Color of the Year is Classic Blue. In the past few years, I have noticed that a huge percentage of my clients are drawn to blue and have asked that the color blue be incorporated into their residential interior design projects. The vignette in the photo above is from my office- so fun!

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.
